"While most of my family live in other countries, I am constantly going to visit my Sister in Manhattan and hope to end up there with her in the future. My mother and father are right down the road! Before Camelot, I did not have the confidence or academic tools to succeed; however, my family at this school went above and beyond the call of duty to nurture and prepare me for life and all of its surprises! I am forever indebted".

Meredith JohnsonMeredith Johnson '04

Colleges: Currently a senior at NYU. I plan on graduating this May (08) with a major in Psychology, and a minor in Africana Studies.

Occupation: I have an internship at a cognitive neuroscience lab at NYU. In the project I am currently involved in, we are investigating the suppression of implicit racial bias, and identifying the regions of the brain in which this process occurs.

Hobbies: I am on the NYU Equestrian team (we are ranked #1 in our region).

Family: My little sister, Emma, is now a junior at the NC School of Math and Science. She now lives on campus (5 minutes from home), and so my parents (Stewart and Jane) have become "empty nesters" sooner than expected. Although I am sure they miss us terribly, they seem to be managing OK. Upon our departure, they vacationed in Italy for two weeks, and made plans to renovate the house and install a hot tub in the backyard. When they are not at work, they spend most of their time playing tennis.
