The Guidance Office serves all students from Kindergarten through twelfth grade in a variety of ways. From helping students with issues of time management and organization to talking through social dynamics, we are always available to give our help and support to each and every student.

Another function of the Guidance Office is to organize and administer the ERB CTP 4 standardized test each spring to grade levels 3 through 11. Results of these tests are not only used by faculty as assessment tools in the classroom, but also to identify and inform students who qualify for specialized gifted and talented programs.

Camelot Academy provides an extensive College Track Program which accompanies the rigorous Upper School academic program. Exposure to the College Track Program begins in the seventh grade with discussions of courses, grades, volunteer work and summer opportunities as well as with students creating individual resumes. Parents are invited to group meetings about the college process and financing a college education as well as individual meetings to assist their student in the college process.

Our seniors work with the counselor individually to present themselves most effectively through the transcript, essays, college application forms, and teacher recommendations. The counselor writes
the school letter of recommendation and helps process the application. Our goal is to help seniors match themselves to colleges and universities that are the best fit — from an academic, athletic,
social, geographic, financial, and religious standpoint.
