The Excaliber Award
The Excaliber Award is based on standardized testing completed during the admissions process. Students may qualify for this award by scoring in the 95th percentile (nationally) or higher on either the language arts or math assessments. The award is $1,000 to $2,000.00 per year and open to rising 4th through 11th grade students.
The Round-Table Scholarship
Eligibility for this merit-based scholarship is also based on standardized testing done during the admissions process, but to qualify the student must score in the 98th percentile or higher for
both math and language arts. Round-Table Scholars receive a 50% tuition award. The school can support a maximum of six Round Table Scholarships in any given year.
The Chris De Carlo Scholarship*

Consideration is given to standardized test scores, academic records, letters of recommendation, essay and financial need. Chris De Carlo Scholarships range from $1,000 to $4,000 depending on the need, ability and potential of the applicant. Open to rising 4th grade through 11th grade students.

The Julian Stanley Scholarship
Named for Dr. Julian Stanley, the talent search pioneer, whose work at Johns Hopkins inspired both Duke's Talent Identification Program and Camelot's Founding Director. It is a full-tuition scholarship, limited to one newly enrolled Upper School student (8th - 11th grade) per year. The successful candidate will have a 7th grade SAT score that meets or exceeds the criteria for the Grand Reception Ceremony at Duke TIP, in addition to supporting records of outstanding academic and behavioral standing. Contact Director of Admissions, Scott Mitchell, for more information.
All scholarships are renewable, as long as the student maintains the same high level of academic performance and remains a student in good standing at Camelot Academy.
Camelot Academy reserves the right to limit or cap the number of scholarships awarded to a class, grade level or division of the school.
All scholarships are available only at the time of enrollment for students entering at grade four or above.
About 50% of the 2011 - 2012 student body received either a merit-based scholarship, or tuition assistance based on need.
