Behind the scenes:

There is much anticipation about the work we are about to do at Faculty Retreat this week.  We are challenged to create the “unique path” for each of our students and to lift off the drawing board many hopes and visions for the months ahead.

 

Remind:

Each family should complete a Retreat Feedback Form for each enrolled student by Tuesday at noon. We look forward to including your input in our planning!

School is closed this Wednesday-Friday for Faculty Retreat.

 

Last call - parents of 10th and 11th graders - to sign up for the PSAT being administered on campus on Friday, October 6.  Please email Jill@camelotacademy.org by MONDAY AT NOON to say “yes” or “no” to this opportunity, if you have not done so already. (Note: the PSAT is optional and scores are not seen by colleges.  Scores can be used to guide preparation for the SAT and also to qualify for National Merit Scholarships in the 11th grade.)

Camelot is looking for job shadow opportunities for our Upper School students during the week of Family Conferences (Oct. 9-13, 2023). It might be for a couple of hours, several days, or anything in between. If you are able to offer such an experience to our students, please complete this Google form to provide more information.

(An important note: Hosting a job shadow counts towards Parent Service hours!)

The 'Forge Your Path' Google Classroom is up and running for Upper School students! Parents of all divisions are also welcome to join, if interested. Join from your Gmail account with class code 2oopb5t.

Members of the Class of ‘24 are starting their college applications! Each student has a weekly meeting time with me in their schedule - those meetings begin next week for those with October/November deadlines.

 

 

WELLNESS Update:

We had no new reported cases of COVID last week.  Happily, there is also no other wellness news to report among our members at this time!
