Greetings!

Kudos to our Model UN student representatives who have been in sessions held at Duke University this weekend.

Message from the gathering:

Hello families!

We’re off to a fantastic start at the Model UN Conference here at Duke University! The first night was electric—with nearly 300 students from across the country and around the globe coming together to kick off this incredible event.

Our students did a wonderful job representing themselves and our school in the General Assembly, speaking on a variety of timely global topics. While there were some initial nerves (totally natural!), I could see their confidence grow throughout the evening. By the end of the session, many were standing up and contributing ideas with poise and purpose!

We’re very excited that several of our students are participating in a special Ad-Hoc session—a fast-paced and challenging committee that requires quick thinking and bold participation. It’s a perfect space for our students' leadership and creativity to shine.

I’m eagerly looking forward to more speeches, debates, and upcoming votes. I couldn’t be prouder of our young leaders—their bravery, curiosity, and tenacity are truly inspiring. Thank you for supporting them on this journey!

Warmly,

Ms. Magda

Model UN Advisor
