Greetings and Happy Mother’s Day!

 

Kudos to the Geometry In Construction Class who completed and installed the footbridge they’ve been working on. It looks amazing and solves the muddy shoes problem.  What a wonderful testimony to mastery of material with practical application.

 

BEHIND THE SCENES:

Wow - talk about a lot going on!  From AP Exams to four trips at the same time we have not been lacking for exciting things to do! The last days of a school year are also filled with much emotion.  Kudos to our terrific teaching team for guiding our young people through it all.  Your thoughtful Teacher Appreciation gestures added a very nice touch and we thank you.

 

 

REMIND:

 

ALL CLUBS HAVE CONCLUDED with the exception of make-up sessions for Wednesday Gardening and Friday Lego - which will be held this week.

 

GRADUATION is Friday, May 23 at the Carolina Theater!

This is a K-12 PARENT REQUIRED EVENT!  (5-7 PM)

Rehearsals, costumes, props, speeches - it is all coming together.

Here are the particulars for Friday, May 23:

-         Seniors rehearse at the theater- 11AM – Noon

-         Seniors arrive for the ceremony at 4 PM

-         Underclassmen (PK-11) and families arrive by 4:45 PM

-         Full school processional begins at 5 PM

ATTIRE for students is “nice event” clothes - please, no jeans or T-shirts

 

 

 

ANNOUNCE:

Summer Reading Info has been finalized and should be reviewed and responded to this week.  Upper School info has been shared and Middle Grades and MAPP info will be sent on Monday.

 

Upper School Math and Language students have received Exam Review Sheets for parent review. Exams are May 19th and 20th.

 

Summer Programs start on June 2nd!  Look at what we have planned- something for everyone!
