Greetings!

 

Thank you for the gift of our Retreat days to focus on this important work.  We accomplished a great deal and set individual goals for each of our students. We appreciated your feedback in this process.  We also appreciated all of the Fuel the Faculty drop-offs!  The treats and sustenance go a long way in keeping up energy during long days of meetings.

 

 

BEHIND THE SCENES:

We were thrilled to welcome Upper School teacher Magda Sims to lunch with us on Friday.  As you know, she is on medical leave this semester.  It was a joyful reunion and we hope she will be back very soon to check in with students.

 

REMIND:

This week Upper School GOLD students have their first Friday with an early release for those not enrolled in US History or Model UN.  Those students are dismissed at 2 PM every Friday of the REGULAR (not X) Schedule.

 

Middle Grades students travel to the NC Museum of Art on WEDNESDAY this week.

 

MAPP students have their farm day on FRIDAY this week.

 

ALL FAMILIES - Please be reminded to communicate any/all changes in medications or dosages to us at the time of the change.  This is key to safety and well-being.  Updates should be sent to attendance@camelotacademy.org and will be shared with teachers, as applicable.

 

ANNOUNCE:

Mark your calendars for the Fall Social on Friday, October 24 (after school).  Parent Service opportunities and details to follow. Note - there is no aftercare on that day.

 

Family Conference Sign-Up links go out this week. In person and Zoom options are available. We look forward to conferencing with each family during the week of October 13.
