Weekly Update for 10/12/2025
Sunday, October 12, 2025
Greetings!
Congratulations to Teacher Sarah, husband Zach and big brothers Ben, Dylan, Oliver and Miles. Ivy June joined the family on Thursday, October 9. We are thrilled to welcome our youngest “faculty kid”!
Last week Upper School students had a visit with Teacher Magda and the faculty and I were joined by former admissions administrator Jill Pitino and her husband for Friday lunch. It is wonderful to welcome these treasured members of our team to campus.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Last Friday was a very productive day. While many high school students took the PSAT upstairs, the faculty and I worked downstairs to prepare for family conferences this week. We are looking forward to welcoming many families to IN PERSON conferences over the following days - the first in several years.
REMIND:
THIS WEEK IS FAMILY CONFERENCE WEEK!
MAPP and Middle Grades classes do not meet Monday-Wednesday.
Upper School classes do not meet all week.
Please be reminded of these important items regarding your family conference:
-Please know the conference format (in person or Zoom) that you signed up for.
-No matter the format, please arrive a few minutes early to help us stay on time.
-Please organize your thoughts/questions in advance to ensure we use our time together well. We start each conference soliciting YOUR agenda items so we allocate time appropriately.
=Expect to hear from the academic teaching team about initial assessments and goals for the year.
