Weekly Update for 11/02/2025
Sunday, November 02, 2025
Greetings and Happy November!
We had another Joyous Friday with festivities that included costumes, crafts and high spirits. FUN was the operative word and many precious memories were made and inspired by the creativity of the Camelot Team. I hope your weekend has contained similar joy.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
The past week I have spent in session with several of our seniors as they have worked towards the big November 1 college application deadline. We have refined essays about everything from religious pilgrimages to debates at Sotheby’s in an impressive catalogue of self-expression. It is a unique honor to be with a student who has been laboring to capture something of their essence in writing when they reach a point of satisfaction and accomplishment with the final product. I cherish this ritual and my time with the soon-to-be graduates. The Class of ‘26 boasts an impressive group of reflective and caring people. I look forward to everyone coming to know them better as the year progresses.
REMIND:
Daylight Savings Time has ended and we gained an hour to the weekend. Please build in a “cushion” of time in your family routines this week as our bodies adjust to the change in the light cycle rhythms.
Mid-Semester Updates will be shared via the Achieve system this Friday. Please note that these reports are NOT part of the permanent record but are a communication between school and home meant to provide updates on content and progress.
ANNOUNCE:
Picture Day is NEXT Monday (November 10). In addition to individual pictures we will be taking the annual whole school picture. Please avoid scheduling appointments that require late drop-offs or early pick-ups, if possible.
I hope you have a great week.
Best,
Thelma
