BEHIND THE SCENES:

Last Friday we had a productive teacher work day with more exciting plans taking shape than we could fit into one day of discussion!  In addition, this month is full of activity of teachers writing first semester report comments. As befits the new year, it is a time of reflection and planning as we continue to circle back to our goals of serving each student in a unique and meaningful way.

 

REMIND:

Upper School First Semester exams are upon us!

-         Wednesday, January 14 - Spanish, Latin and ELL Exams

-         Thursday, January 15 - Math Exams

 

 

ANNOUNCE:

First Semester Club wrap-up has lots of details!

-         This Monday - NO Battle of the Books- make up session to be scheduled during a competition week

-         This Monday - Art Club DOES meet plus has an added make-up session on Monday, Jan 12

-         This Tuesday - D&D meets PLUS a make-up session will run on Tuesday, Jan 13

-         This Thursday - NO Lego Club - make up sessions scheduled Thursday Jan 15 and Thursday Jan 22

 

 

Summer Opportunities are forthcoming! 

We plan to announce our summer line up on MLK weekend (Sunday, January 18).  Stay tuned!

 

 

Wellness Update:

Flu A was a force to be reckoned with at our school last month.  Let’s all start the new year with extra vigilance in monitoring for symptoms that may surface as we return from holiday travels and gatherings and keeping students home when they have had symptoms or fever within the last 24 hours.
