Weekly Update- January 26, 2026

Greetings!

 

I hope your family has gotten through the storm with minimal impact.  We have much to be thankful for in how our area fared relative to the predictions a few days ago.

 

 

BEHIND THE SCENES:

Last week I had the joy of visiting Jill Pitino, our former admissions administrator, who was struck with brain cancer last year at this time.  Although she is greatly weakened since a fall in December, her spirit and her love of our school was fully intact.  I send her love to you.

 

REMIND: 

The next five on campus days are Upper School X Schedule days.

 

Next week (week of February 2) is Club Preview Week. There are MANY new offerings.

February Family Conference sign-up info went out to everyone K-7th as well as to all juniors and many Upper School students on Friday.  Please sign up at your earliest convenience.

 

The Upper School dance is Saturday, February 21.

ANNOUNCE:

 

Last week some unexpected challenges occurred as a result of an accidental teacher laptop mishap in an Upper School classroom. I am sending a separate email to follow this one to address our response.
