WEEKLY UPDATE!  February 2, 2026

 

Greetings!

 

I hope you and your family have been able to make some nice snow memories these past few days. I could almost hear the cheers of our students from my house when the snowflakes started to fall - they went into the weekend full of anticipation of fun in the snow.

 

Congratulations to senior Lily Sperry on her recent acceptance to Elon University.

 

 

BEHIND THE SCENES:

I have been spending hours each day reading every report card comment prior to their release on Monday, February 9.  What a labor of love! From Nature Start outdoor discoveries, to the retelling of MAPP student breakthroughs, Middle Grades artistic awakenings and Upper School triumphs - it is quite a body of work. The knowledge and care our instructors pour into their classes - and their efforts to share that with families - is BEAUTIFUL.  We are excited to share this with you both in the reports and in family conferences next week.

 

 

REMIND:

This Friday is an early dismissal day to allow for teacher planning and meetings.

Middle Grades and Purple - 12:15 PM

Gold - 12:30 PM (Student drivers dismissed at NOON)

 

 

Upper School X Schedule continues through Tuesday (tomorrow).

 

This week is club preview week - check out the slate of offerings - note - net sports, golf and soccer do NOT preview this week. (Wendy sent corrected info on the net sports club on Friday and the form on our website has also been updated.)

Monday clubs that were supposed to preview today will preview NEXT MONDAY, February 9.
