| Description | In this program, students will learn the fundamentals of ceramics though exciting projects in handbuilding. Students will create both functional and decorative projects, including teapots, bird-houses, whistles, candleholders, bowls, plates and small sculptures. Week 1 will be dedicated to the construction of projects, and Week 2 will feature glazing (painting) with food-safe, colorful pigments! As an added bonus, this camp runs alongside Ms. Sarah's "Apiary Adventures: A Deep Dive into the Beehive" program each morning at our school farm. Look at the main program site for further details about registering for the full day of these two programs combined.
